That's a very strange idea

Not sure I agree with that at all - this will cause a lot of annoyance to users, as closing the home page by accident is very easy to do.

I routinely close all my dbs to gt to my home page by just hitting escape lots of times (without having to worry about how many times I hit it).

If it is going to be like this, can we have the Home link a bit more prominent (maybe on the tab bar:-). In seriousness, is it possible to have a permanent toolbar icon maybe to go to the home page (can it tell whether it's already open and switch to it if necessary or alternatively open it?)

At the very least it should be at the top of the Open list.
